Hi Jungs,

ich bekomme wenn ich über den Configurator auf Update klicke folgende meldung:

"Sorry, aber der Updater steht derzeit noch nicht zur Verfügung"

Ich kann mich noch dran erinnern das ich vor einigen Monaten extra alles neu installiert habe weil hier in den News stand das ich nur noch einmal, und nie wieder neuinstallieren muss für Updates da dies nun integriert ist. Joar, funktioniert super…

Yup… deshalb gab es in Miranda Fusion 2.x.x dann ja die Update-Pakete als Übergangslösung. Diese musste man sich herunterladen und installieren. Ganz easy. Die letzte 2.x.x Version war dann die 2.1.1.

Seit Version 3.0 haben wir einen eigenen Autoupdater. Da geht das alles automatisch (je nach Einstellung).

Allerdings ist 2.x.x NICHT auf 3.x.x updatebar! Es hat sich von Core 0.8.x zu Core 0.9.x zu viel verändert! Vor allem gibt es ein neues Datenbanksystem, so dass die alte profil.dat NICHT mehr funktioniert.

Und in einem Jahr gibt´s vielleicht schon den 0.10.x Core wo wieder alles anders ist und es wiedr nicht per Update geht… da stecken wir leider auch nicht drin…

Aber du kannst auch kein Windows XP per Windows AutoUpdate auf Windows 7 updaten. Windows XP bleibt Windows XP.

Und MiFu 2 bleibt MiFu 2 und nicht 3… so ist das leben…

Du kannst dir ja mal die 3er Version anschauen. Auch die Kommentare und Postings. Und dann schaust du ob du erstmal noch bei der 2 bleibst oder schon die 3 nutzt.

Wie gesagt die 3er hat den Autoupdater…
